Chewy – Wine Term of the Week

Chewy - Wine Term of the WeekA wine can be described as chewy when the texture is extremely heavy and viscous or if it is so dense that you think that you can bite into it. The tannins are very apparent in a chewy wine. Zinfandel is often described this way as it’s very full bodied and in your face.

We will be at the Penns Woods Wine Festival on Saturday, May 21st for great wine, music and a chance to meet Eagles kicker David Akers. Visit for details.
