Flight - Wine Term of the WeekA wine flight is a tasting of multiple wines for the reason of comparison. Flights are popular in wine bars and are a great way to determine ones favorite traits among wines with similar characteristics.

Flights are normally three to five wines but have been known to consist of many more. Similarly, many microbreweries also offer beer flights.

Flight also refers to something I’m looking forward to next fall as I plan to make my first visit to Sonoma County, California. If all goes well I may not come back …
